By studying patients’ unique genetic profiles, novel research being done at CUIMC’s Department of Ophthalmology is being translated into clinical care for a myriad of ophthalmalogic disorders. Thus, this years edition of  Precision Ophthalmology™ focuses on “Applied Genetics.”  The airy design format combines highly-detailed, medical text with diagrams, infographics, and photomicrographs, presenting the complex science in an accessible manner—short stories with illustrations and lots of white space. Striking divider spreads are used throughout to delineate the sections. The book begins with a timeline which details the department’s impressive history of innovation for over 150 years.
