Museum of Modern Art: Birthday Invitation & Party Favor

A unique invitation for a party at MoMA for the director of the Canadian Center for Architecture. The invitation, on translucent vellum with drawings of different elevations of the Center, was die-cut and folded to enclose a sheet of Canadian maple veneer, and the whole thing was wrapped with a band. The client loves puzzles, so we created a party favor of four blocks printed with a piece of the different elevations from the invitation, housed in an archival box like the ones used at the CCA. There’s also a cheat sheet showing how the puzzle works.
